In short
- We collect what the invoice needs. The vehicle, your ZIP code, your name, mobile number and email, and a password for your account.
- We never sell your information. Your request is not passed to dealers, lenders or insurers.
- Dealers don't learn who you are. A dealer may be asked to quote the vehicle without being told who wants it. Your name goes only to the dealer you choose, and only if you decide to buy through us.
- We contact you about your request by text, call or email. Marketing texts only if you opt in. Reply STOP to stop texts.
- You're in control. To see, correct or delete your information, text or call 772-249-6075.
1. Who we are
Free Invoice Pricing (freeinvoicepricing.com) is the pricing service of Dedicated Auto Concierge, LLC, a vehicle brokerage. In this policy, “DAC”, “we” and “us” mean Dedicated Auto Concierge, LLC.
This policy covers this website, the customer portal and the invoice service. The account you create here also works on dedicatedautoconcierge.com, so this policy also describes what your account holds when you use it there.
2. What we collect
Only what we need to get you your invoice and run your account, plus a few technical details that come with every request.
What you tell us
- The vehicle: year, make, model and trim, and the VIN if you add one.
- Your ZIP code, because invoices and prices vary by region.
- Your name, mobile number and email address.
- A password for your account. We keep only a scrambled, one-way form of it (a salted hash), never the password itself.
- Your language, English or Spanish.
- Your choices: that you asked us to get your invoice and contact you about it, whether you also agreed to marketing texts, and when you made each choice.
- What you tell your concierge by text, phone or email, such as the exact trim, color and options you want.
What comes with your request
- Your IP address and browser details (the type of browser and device it reports), recorded with your request. We use them to protect against fraud and abuse and as part of the record of your consent.
- Where you came from: the address of the page you sent your request from, including any campaign tags in it (such as UTM tags or ad-click IDs), and the page that linked you to us, if your browser shares it. This tells us which ads and links bring people to us.
- Account dates: when you created your account, which of our two sites you have used, and when we last reset your password at your request.
What we add
The status of your request, notes our team makes while working on it, and the invoice file we attach for you to download.
If you hire us to broker a purchase
We collect what that purchase needs, such as the names and address for title and registration, details of a trade-in, a delivery address and a record of your payments. You pay on a secure checkout page run by our payment processor, Stripe; we never see or store your full card number.
We never ask for your Social Security number, date of birth or driver's license number to get you an invoice, and getting an invoice involves no credit check.
3. How we use it
- To get your invoice: to confirm the exact vehicle with you, find its invoice (or, when none can be found, prepare our closest estimate) and make it available in your customer portal.
- To run your account: to sign you in on either site, show your requests and invoices, and let you change your password.
- To contact you about your request by text, call or email, as you asked us to. On that call your concierge will also offer to handle the purchase for you. There is no obligation.
- To send occasional pricing tips and offers by text, only if you ticked the optional box.
- If you hire us: to broker the purchase, arrange any add-ons you approve (such as transport or an inspection), take payment and keep the records the law requires.
- To keep the service safe: to spot and stop fraud, spam and abuse, and to limit repeated sign-in attempts.
- To learn which ads and links work, using the campaign tags and referring page described above.
- To keep records and follow the law, including records of your consent and of any request to stop contacting you.
Invoices are about vehicles, not people. We keep the invoices we obtain in our invoice library so we can answer the next request for the same vehicle without asking a dealer again. The library holds vehicle pricing, not your contact details.
5. Texts, calls and email
When you ask for your invoice, you tick a box asking DAC to get it and to contact you about your request by text, call or email. That is how your concierge confirms the exact vehicle and follows up.
A second box is optional: it lets us text you occasional pricing tips and offers, separate from your request.
- Consent to texts is never a condition of buying anything.
- Message and data rates may apply. How often we text depends on your request and your choices.
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts. Reply HELP for help, or call 772-249-6075.
- To stop calls or emails, tell your concierge, or text or call 772-249-6075.
- Stopping messages does not close your account. Your invoice stays in your customer portal.
- If a call is recorded, we tell you at the start of the call.
6. Your account and security
- One login for both sites. Your email address is your sign-in on freeinvoicepricing.com and on dedicatedautoconcierge.com. The same password works on both.
- Your password is never stored as written. We keep only a salted hash made with a deliberately slow method (PBKDF2), so nobody at DAC can read it. If you forget it, text your concierge at 772-249-6075; we will confirm it is you and set a temporary one.
- Signing in. When you sign in, your browser keeps a sign-in token that lasts 30 days or until you sign out. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
- Protection. Connections to our site and systems are encrypted (HTTPS). Only the people and tools that need your information can reach it, our team's tools need a private key, and repeated sign-in attempts are limited.
- Your part. No system is perfectly secure. Use a password you don't use anywhere else, and tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account. If a security breach affects your information, we will notify you as the law requires.
8. How long we keep it
- While your account is open, we keep your account, your requests and the invoices in your portal, so you can come back to them.
- When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it along with your requests and invoice files, except for the records below.
- Records we keep longer: proof of your consent and of any request to stop contacting you (so we can show we had permission, and never contact you again after you said stop); records of a purchase and of payments made through us, for as long as tax and other laws require; and anything needed to resolve a dispute or legal claim.
- Short-lived security data: the counters that limit repeated attempts to sign in or send requests keep an IP address or email address for about an hour, then expire.
- Invoices in our invoice library hold vehicle pricing, not your details, and we keep them.
9. Your choices and rights
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete your account and your information;
- stop marketing messages, or stop contacting you altogether.
How to ask
Text or call us at 772-249-6075 with the name, email and mobile number on your account, and tell us what you would like us to do.
Before we act, we confirm the request is really from you, usually by contacting you at the mobile number or email on your account. We answer within 45 days, usually much sooner, and if we need more time we will tell you why.
You can have someone else make a request for you; we will ask for proof that you authorized them and may check with you directly. We will never charge you more or treat you differently for using these rights.
Deleting your account also deletes your requests and invoice files and signs you out on both sites. We keep only the records listed in section 8.
10. California and other state privacy rights
California and a growing number of other states give their residents specific privacy rights. In summary, depending on where you live, these can include the right to know what personal information a business collects, uses and discloses; to get a copy of it; to correct it; to delete it; to opt out of its sale or sharing, of targeted advertising and of certain profiling; to limit the use of sensitive personal information; and to appeal if a business turns down your request.
Here is how that works at DAC:
- Know, copy, correct and delete: we offer these to everyone, as section 9 describes.
- No selling or sharing: we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral (targeted) advertising, and we have not done so in the past 12 months. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.
- Sensitive information: the only sensitive personal information we hold is your account sign-in (email and password), and we use it only to let you sign in.
- No profiling: we make no automated decisions about you that have legal or similarly significant effects.
- Appeals: if we turn down a request, reply to our answer, or text or call us, and ask us to review it. If you are still not satisfied, you can contact your state's attorney general.
- California “Shine the Light”: we do not share personal information with other companies for their own direct marketing.
What we collected in the past 12 months
In the categories California law uses:
- Identifiers
- Name, email address, mobile number, IP address and account ID.
- Customer records
- Your account details and, if you buy through us, purchase and payment records.
- Commercial information
- The vehicles you asked about, and any purchase or add-on you made through us.
- Internet activity
- The page you sent your request from, campaign tags, the referring page and browser details.
- General location
- Your ZIP code. Never your precise location.
- Sensitive personal information
- Your account sign-in only.
We collect it from you, from your device and from our own work on your request; we use it for the purposes in section 3; we disclose it for business purposes only to the recipients in section 4; and we keep it as section 8 describes.
11. Children
Free Invoice Pricing is for adults shopping for a vehicle and is not meant for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, text or call us at 772-249-6075 and we will delete it.
12. Where your information is kept
Our service is for buyers in the United States. Our service providers, such as Cloudflare, run networks around the world, so your information may be stored or processed outside your state or outside the United States, under their security safeguards.
13. Changes to this policy
We will post any change on this page and update the effective date at the top. If a change is significant, for example a new way of using or sharing your information, we will tell you by text or email before it takes effect, and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
